Swimming in Park City

This is Mindy, Can's sister. Since she doesn't update her blog, I thought I'd do it for her :)

Last week my husband and I stayed in Park City, so we had Can and her kids come up to hang out with us and swim. The kids loved the pool, and we had a blast!

Macie turns two!

Our cute little Macie turned two years old today. It was not a very exciting day for her because Collin had swimming lessons and a T-ball game and then we were just at home for the rest of the day while Grant was at work. She didn't seem to care though. Macie is such a fun little girl to have around. She is always making us laugh and she is such a little girly girl. I just love it! She still does not say a whole lot but is starting to say more everyday. Many days it is a challenge trying to figure out what she is saying or what she wants. She can have major attitude if she wants to but it usually pretty sweet. Here are some things about her right now.

*Loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and it is the first thing she asks for in the morning when she wakes up and usually the last thing she asks for at night before bed. We have several episodes on the DVR at all times to ensure there are no major breakdowns at any given time. She calls it Awe-Ha, which means Goofy. She is a little bit rotten.
*She loves babies. Real and play and will mother them to death. Poor little Dane gets practically mauled by her and Boston has no clue what is in store for him. She is a mother hen all the way.
*She loves to be outside and can open the screen door now and escape.
*She has locked me out of the house once.
*She loves her daddy only if and when he has food.
*Is already obsessed with makeup and gets into mine daily. She has put my mascara on twice, polished my bathroom rugs, and is always sneaking the lip gloss from my purse.
*Is still a monkey. Will climb on or off anything.
*Now climbs out of the grocery cart.
*Has starting tattling on Collin if she knows he is doing something he shouldn't be.
Like sucking his thumb or getting out of time out.
*My favorite thing she says right now is "Coll Coll mean mean" when Collin is being mean to her.

She was afraid of the candles and did not want to blow them out. Grant was trying to convice her to do it but you can see it was not going over.

Bike Rides

Since Collin learned to ride his bike Grant's dad has taken him on a few bike rides. Collin adores his Grandpa Richardson and looks forward to these rides. When Grandpa tells him they will go soon, Collin asks me a million times how long it will be until he gets to go. There is a big park right by our house that is perfect for them to ride around. Today I was lucky enough to snap some pics as they were returning home.

Collin came home to his favorite surprise ever. Min and Dane Dane came for a visit!

T-ball

Collin started playing T-ball a few weeks ago and he loves it! He asks almost everyday if it's Thursday or if he has a game today. He also wants to practice non-stop. It is so cute watching all of the little kids play, they are all so adorable. Collin has two cute little friends from Primary on his team who he adores. Watching them all play is the cutest thing ever.
(Sorry the pics are so far away. My camera doesn't zoom very far. Collin is in the black hat.)
Heading out the door to his first game.

There's no animal strike at the zoo!

We decided to head to the zoo last week with Kim and Matt even though it looked like rain. It ended up being perfect weather because it wasn't hot and and there was hardly anyone there. It was a quick trip but the animals were actually quite active and the kids had a blast.
The first time I have ever seen the Tiger this close up. He was laying on top of the bridge that goes over the walk way. He was watching all the people walk under him.
Mace loved all the animals and would stand up in her stroller like this so she could see them better. Then she would get really excited.
Many of the animals were eating their lunch which was really fun to watch. The monkeys had spaghetti and would walk around picking up the noodles and would totally avoid their veggies. It was a little too familiar.
Bending down to eat the bush.
Boo Boo pretending to get a drink.

Collins' turn
Macie would rather just cheese for the camera
Three cute kids!

101

So I didn't even realize until just barely that my last post was my 100th. According to Mindy-the blog expert (because hers rocks), your 100th post is a pretty big deal and you are supposed to write 100 things about yourself. Well, that would take me about 100 years to do, so I am going to pass. Instead, I will leave you with a pic that I am 100% sure shows the cutest kids in the world (with the exception of my two other nephews who weren't there).
All together at Grandma Chrissy's for Mothers Day

The joys of summer

We are lovin' this weather, and everything else that comes with Summer.

Especially cute and dirty kids!
