More Baby Macie

Here are a few pictures of 2 day old Macie! Kim is a little bit picture happy so she took plenty for me (since my camera wasn't charged!).

Macie Marie Richardson

Our baby girl has arrived! Macie Marie Richardson was born today at 3:30 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. My doctor had me come in to be induced at about 9:30 and once they got the pitosin going at about 11:30 things went pretty quickly! We're so happy to welcome her into our family and glad everything went well for both of us! (These pictures sort of go in reverse order--at least for now because the computer is having issues with cutting and pasting!)

*Who is in charge of the remote control? Grant is, I don't have a chance even if I try to get it. I don't watch much TV though so I usually don't care.

* Whose temper is worse? I would say it's Grant. It takes a lot to make him mad but when you do watch out. I on the other hand get mad quite easily but it doesn't last long and it's not anything to be afraid of.

* Who does the laundry? Me unless I slack off and Grant has nothing to wear.

* Who does the dishes? I do

* Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me

* Who cooks dinner? On the rare occasion that we eat at home it's Grant. Otherwise it's some person I don't know.

* Who is more stubborn? He would say me and I'll say him.

* Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Grant, I rarely admit that I am wrong because I'm usually not.

* Whose parents do you see the most? Probably mine. Well Grant's live across the street so we see them more in
passing but we probably spend more time with my mom.

* Who has more friends? Grant keeps in touch with a lot more than I do because we live in his home town.

* Who has more siblings? Grant just by 2.

* Who wears the pants in the family? Probably Grant but it depends on what it's about.

Day at Lagoon

Yesterday was my work day at Lagoon. My bosses paid for us to get in and have a barbeque for dinner. Kim came with me to take Collin since Grant had to work. We spent all of our time in Kiddie Land taking Collin on rides. He was in heaven and couldn't get enough. He wasn't happy when it was time to leave but a package of M&M's can work wonders!

5 Things...

Grant
*Loves to shop and has a bigger shoe and watch collection than I do.
*Recognizes people only by their car (usually not people we don't even know). He knows the history of the car and its owner, how long they have had the car, what decals and accessories it has or have recently been removed, and also knows who the cars previous owner was.
*Favorite breakfast food is soda crackers with milk on them.
*Should have been an interior decorator by day.
*Doesn't love to eat ice cream the way I do and still after 6 years of marriage makes me mad when he turns down Cold Stone.

Candice
*I HATE Walmart with every fiber of my being and yet still seem to find myself there on a weekly basis.
*My biggest pet peeve is people in the summer who wear clothes that they shouldn't be wearing and assume that people want to see their flesh when we really would rather not.
*I love to grocery shop.
*I love to collect scrapbook supplies and have a closet full, yet still to this day Collin does not have one single scrapbook page.
*I don't like to cook but wish I did.

Collin
*Thinks he is a dog most of the time and will lick anyone or anything.
*Randomly shouts out in public places "WES SIIIDE" and "WUS UP GRILS".
*Only eats 5 things ever...chicken nuggets, cereal, fries, jam sandwiches, and mac & cheese.
*Is obsessed with tools (like his dad) and frequently tries to take apart things around my house.
*Could not live without his "animal blanket" and his thumb.

Swimming!

On Saturday we decided to go swimming after we helped Mindy and Michael move out of their apartment. Collin is a little fish and loves playing in the water. He absolutely loved going down the slides and jumping off the side of the pool! Everyone had a blast!
