Do you know the Muffin Baby?

A few days ago I made chocolate chip muffins for breakfast and Macie experienced them for the first time. She ate two whole muffins and barely left a crumb.

Little Stink Bug

Macie has realized that it hurts her knees to crawl on the ground outside so has began crawling on her hand and feet. I had to get her doing it on video because she looks so funny. She has gotten much faster at it then she was when I took this video.

Reunion Part II

On Saturday we decided to brave the crowds and take the kids to the zoo. The weather ended up being perfect (not too hot) and we got there right when it opened so we were in front of the crowd. The kids had a great time as well as the adults. Traditional picture with some of the kids on the big gorilla.
Top:Savannah, Left to right :Sierra, Collin, Wilseydee.
Macie and Marissa in the stroller.
Mace thought she was big enough to ride standing up.

Collin on the big LOUD elephant.

Grant Multitasking (Made it easy for me to be photographer:)

Macie thought the Merry-go-round was great! So did Collin! All of the kids on the lion (or is it a tiger?)
We actually got Kayleen to be in this one.

Maie and Marissa again. They were both completely content as long as they
had each others sippys. If we tried to switch them back they would get mad.

I had to take this picture of Macie's hair.
Just for proof that I am getting a little better and have progressed
a little from"hair retarted".
Thank heavens for Kim the hair expert.
I have been paying her for lessons and I think it's slowly helping:)
Collin Loved the elephants!

I know, I know, this is about the millionth (is that a word??) picture of Macie in her stroller.
If she just wasn't so cute I would stop taking and posting them. Sorry!
Grant looking HOT!!!! in his cool hat. He and Jared forgot to wear hats so their mom insisted she buy them hats in the gift shop that say Hogle Zoo on them. They were lovin' it!
Macie looking at a big something(Giraffe, Monkey, Lion, Tiger, bear or
possible any other animal found at the zoo. She loved watching them all! We got to see the bald eagle up close, it was really cool. The pic is a little boring but I
figured it was fitting to post being that it was the 4th of July.

All of the kids sitting by the Stellers Sea-Eagle. That is one big bird, I was scared of it!

More Renion Pics

After we got home from Heritage Park on Friday night
we went to Grant's parents house for a BBQ and games.Macie and Marissa had a blast playing on the ground and eating everything in sight. I fished about 25 wood chips out of Macie's mouth that night. These two are exactly a month apart and play so cute together. (They especially love to trade sippy's.)
Grant's mom bought a pinata for the grandkids and they had a blast!

Collin and his cute little dirty face:)
Macie loved this squishy green ball thingy. She and Marissa fought over it all night!
You can see how happy Macie is to have it.

Family Reunion

This past weekend we had our annual Richardson Family Reunion. It was a little different this year than it has been in the past because only two (one of them being us) of the 7 children in Grant's family were able to make it. Oh well, it's a good thing that "us"(me and Grant) and Grant's older brother Jared and his family are so awseome! Because we had a blast anyway. Our kids and their kids are all really close in age so they had a ton of fun together. On Friday Grant's parents took us up to Heritage Park for the day. I had never been there before and it was really fun to see all of the pioneer history and there were a lot of fun activities for the kids. Besides the fact that I look like a total beast and sort of forgot to do my hair that day (don't ask...we slept in and were in a mad dash to get out of the house to get to Jared's on time. And when we got there, they and their 5 kids were all ready and waiting in the car for us. You could say that Rebecca's a little more on the ball then me. Whoa, sorry I got a little off the subject.)
isn't our little family cute? Side note: I'm sad you can't see it in this picture but behind us is the building that was the old grocery store in Manti when I was little. It was really cool to see.
Grant and I on the train ride. Can you tell he's thrilled?

Collin on the train ride.
The kids loved riding in the wagon. Too bad pulling it up all those hills wasn't as fun. Good thing I had Macie in the stroller as an excuse not to.

All of us riding the "big train".

All of us riding the "little train".

Even Macie and Kayleen got it on the pony riding.

Collin and Wilseydee on the pony ride.
Macie petting a lamb.
Me and Macie on the train ride.
Collin and Grant making designs in leather.
(Totally reminded me of the good ol' days with Mr. Halling.)
Collin petting a baby goat.
Macie was happy as long as she was eating.
This picture cracks me up. She is so funny!

Collin washing clothes.
He thought that he was using the towels to wash the washboard and
we couldn't get him to understand that it was the other way around.
