Big Stuff!

Macie finally started walking in August. Since she took that first step she has not stopped and is now running everywhere. She thinks she is so big and can go anywhere and do anything she wants. She is always getting into stuff and a few weeks ago I found her flip flop in the toilet with the lid closed! But she is so much fun!

A few days after she started walking. Of course I couldn't find my camera the first day she did it.

Birthday Day 2

We let Collin decide what he wanted to do for his Birthday and he chose to go to the zoo the see the baby elephant and go to lunch at Red Robin. Grant even took the day off work which was so fun for us because he is ALWAYS at work. It was such a fun day! Collin was almost the exact same size as the adolescent Gorilla.

My Big 4 year old

Patiently waiting for Collin and Grant to get off the Merry Go Round. We were lucky enough to get Bryners for the day and my kids Loved it!

Macie figured out how to get out of her stoller so every
time we stopped to look at somethign out she came.
The penguins were actually swimming which I have never ever seen before at Hogle Zoo.
The Cheetah was up and moving around as well.

The cute kids!
Can yo see the baby Giraffe? He was so cute!

We couldn't get Brynlie to look up.

Collin had to ride the elephant.

Where at least I know I'm FOUR!

Collin turned 4 last Wednesday, September 23rd but we celebrated his birthday the Sunday before because my mom was already in town. He had a great party and was so excited for his Lightning McQueen cake. Collin and Brynlie checking out his new drum set from Grandma Richardson.
Showing us his super cool motorcycles from Grandma Chrissie.

If you look closely you can sort of see how excited he was by the look on his face. I have never
seen someone get so excited about things as Collin. It's hilarious to watch!
Cheese!

Collin could barely hold still long enough for me to take his picture.
He was jumping around like a crazy man wanting us to take his presents out of the boxes.
Blowing out the candles
I think I did a pretty good job on the cake (thanks to my mom)!

Macie scoping out the presents before Collin could get to them. Grant told Collin that he had to go potty before he could open his presents (so he wouldn't pee his pants from excitement) or these would not have sat unopened long enough for me to take a picture.
Books for his Tag Reader!
Collin told me two days ago that he wants a fire engine cake for his next birthday. I told him that would be fine but his next birthday is not for a whole year which is a really long time. Then he said "Yeah, but we should probably go get the cake pan tomorrow".
I have a feeling it's going to be a long year.
